SUMMARY:2021 Swanpool Motor Festival
DESCRIPTION:The third running of the Swanpool Motor Festival will be held on Saturday 6th March 2021\, Labour Day weekend.  The previous two festivals each had over 180 vehicles on display\, including cars\, bikes\, trucks\, tractors and race cars. \nThe Albert Heaney Oval Committee invites you\, your family\, friends and car club members to attend our Festival commencing at 8am with entry being a gold coin donation to the three local CFA Brigades.  The Festival is a community event\, with display vehicles\, swap meet and market stalls\, run by locals to raise funds to upkeep the Swanpool Oval and amenities.  The Festival is held on the Swanpool Oval\, 2426 Midland Highway\, Swanpool which is between Mansfield and Benalla. \nDisplay vehicles are parked on the oval with an entry fee of $5 and must remain parked on the oval until 2pm when a prize pool of over $2000 will be handed out to the winners.  Vehicles are not judged as a show and shine\, but are selected by the judges\, ensuring that every vehicle has the same chance to win a prize.  Last year’s Festival saw a record of $3300 in prizes divided into a minimum of $100 or more\, handed out to the 23 winning entrants.  All prizes are donated by local businesses located in Benalla and Mansfield.  Entry for display vehicles is via Swanpool-Lima Road at the southern end of the oval off the Midland Highway. \nThe Festival is sponsored by Shannons Insurance who will be presenting a trophy valued at $100 to the vehicle selected by the public vote.  The two main sponsors for the event are Martins Garage and High Country Parts & 4×4 both located in Mansfield. The major prizes at the moment are 2 x $250 vouches for car detailing. \nThe Festival will have live music performed by 2 Easy and the local radio station\, Radio Mansfield 99.7FM will be broadcasting live from the Festival during the day.  Food\, Drinks and Coffee will be available and the air-conditioned pavilion will provide meals and coffee. \nThe Swanpool Motor Festival is run in a very relaxed atmosphere\, with a local band playing live music and allowing car owners and the public to inspect the vehicles\, the swap meet and market stalls and sit back and enjoy the food\, the drinks in a stunning country setting. \nSwanpool Motor Festival Flyer 2012 email version \n
