SUMMARY:Autumn Glory Tour of North East Victoria
DESCRIPTION:This is not a club event but looks like a good way to fill in a couple of days. The event is organised by Steuart Snooks of Snooks Motorsport (0413 830 772). \nIts a 3 day Tour on 100% bitumen called the ‘Autumn Glory Tour of North East Victoria’ on Friday 5th to Sunday 7th May. The aim is to tour the wonderful roads and scenery of this beautiful region at the time of peak autumn colour. \nA feature of the event will be a drive along the whole length of the Great River Road\, following the Murray River upstream from east of Albury as far as possible on bitumen. We are working closely with the Towong Shire Council who wish to promote this wonderful driving experience along the same lines as the Great Ocean Road and Great Alpine Way. \nThere are categories for: \n\nA Tour with Observation Test (sealed roads only)\nNavigational Challenge (includes unsealed roads)\nA Social Run (sealed roads only)\n\nThe key details about the event can be viewed at the event website at https://www.autumnglorytour.com.au/ where an ‘Expression of Interest Form’ can be submitted for those who wish to stay informed. \nWe invite your members to submit one or more teams of 3 or 4 cars (best 3 results to count) for a Teams Award. \nSteuart Snooks \nSnooks Motorsport \n0413 830 772 \n

SUMMARY:Beechworth Drive Back in Time
DESCRIPTION:The annual Beechworth Drive Back In Time is on again on 6th and 7th May 2023. The good news is the event will return to pre-covid format\, with Ford Street closed to traffic from Camp Street to Williams Street\, plus additional vehicles and engines in the Police Paddocks. \nSATURDAY EVENTS\n10AM: Weekend starts with A TRACTOR TREK.\n$10 entry includes BBQ lunch.\n12noon Welcome BBQ lunch at the Old Railway Goods Shed.\n$10 per car. Followed by a run to local points of interest.\n4.30pm CRUISE BACK IN TIME street cruise.\nVehicles will line up in Harper Avenue outside the Crossley Shed and Beechworth Bowls Club. 4:00 Pm\nVehicles over 25 years are welcome to participate.\nNote that normal road rules apply\, and any infringements of these\nrules will see vehicles removed from the cruise.\nSUNDAY SHOW & SHINE FOR VEHICLES 25yrs & OVER\n8AM: No Pre-Entry required.\nFord Street between Camp St. & Williams St. will be closed to traffic.\nEntry to the display is at the Williams Street end of Ford Street.\nVehicles will be directed to designated parking areas.\nIf you wish to leave prior to close of the display at approximately 2pm\,\nenter the Police Paddocks at entrances in Williams St. & High St.\nEntry cost $5 per vehicle\nSponsors choice trophies to be won.\nTruck\, Tractor\, and engine display in the Police Paddocks.\nPublic entry is by Gold Coin donation.\n1pm.
