SUMMARY:April run - Dowel (Trydel) Car Museum
DESCRIPTION:The Dowel Museum formerly known as the Trydel Car Museum is a private collection not open to the public\, entry is invite only\, Ian has managed to secure a date for us. \nWHEN: Sunday 19th April. \nMEETING POINT: CARL’S Jr BURGERS 215 Princes Hwy Beaconsfield Arrive  8.15 / 8.45 am \nDEPARTURE:  at 9.15am \nIf you were fortunate enough some years ago to visit the TRYDEL classic and racing car museum in Upper Beaconsfield you will be delighted to know that it has relocated and reopened still in Upper Beaconsfield but now closer to Dewhurst in the old Victorian Equestrian Centre.\nWe have arranged a Club visit in conjunction with the Chrysler Car Club on Sunday 19th April.\nWe have a new MEETING POINT and it is CARL’S Jr BURGERS (Yvonne and I can vouch for the “culinary quality” of both the breaky burgers and coffee) located at 215 Princes Hwy Beaconsfield. Mark Van Delft (club member) is the owner and will “mother us“ as we meet up between 8.15-8.45 am with a push off time at 9.15am to arrive at the old Victorian Equestrian Centre on the Beaconsfield/Emerald Rd just before 10am.  \nOnce on the Beaconsfield / Emerald Rd travel some Ks and the museum is on the right\, quite easily seen from the road (Mel.211.D8) and is just past the SECOND Stoney Creek Rd intersection which is on the left…yes there are two of them…they loop around. If you overshoot \, Elephant Rock will appear on the left so\, turn in here and retrace back about 0.5K and try again or phone us. There is a $20 p.p. charge which I believe goes to charity.\nNumbers could be an issue so please contact me with your clear intention. This is exciting but could also be “very lonely” if you go to the B.P. Officer Servo. by mistake so\, please reread the meeting point info.\nIan for the social committee \n
