Club Birthday Run 2018

For the 2018 birthday run we are planning a weekend in Stawell.

The Itinerary kicks off on Saturday 26th May at 8.00am at McDonalds/ Seven Eleven service centre outbound on the Western Ring Road M80 Melways ref map 40 B5. At Derrimut or Ardeer North.

We will depart at 8.30 sharp. via M80 for 3klm then turning left at M8 Western Highway and head to Beaufort for morning tea.  The plan is to arrive in Beaufort for a quick morning tea and be back on the road again just after 10:00am to arrive at Ararat for a tour of “J” ward this is where they used to house the criminally insane so there’s a chance some of us may not get out.
For those that do escape there’s a BBQ lunch at Moyston, followed by a stop to check out a collection of Lincolns.
Then it’s off to Stawell to the Comfort Inn Goldfields Motel to check in and have dinner.
Sunday 27/5/2018
10:00 travel to the Pickers Market 300 metres down the road to display our cars out the front in the car park.
There’s a cafe for morning tea if wanted.
10:45 Travel to the Stawell Gift Hall of Fame for
11:00 tour.
12:00 Walk across road to the Gift Hotel where
we’ll have our birthday lunch. Where you can
choose from the menu as well as their Sunday
Roast Special.

Members have to book their own accommodation see below.
