Victorian Ambulance Museum

             on the 17^th November we are going to visit the…

              VICTORIAN AMBULANCE MUSEUM

                           1/55 Barry St Bayswater

There could be 25 ambulances there with what looks like a 1940 Army Chev Ambo out front and several very old Essex ones (1913) inside.

Then you have others dating back to 1887 that were horse drawn.

The Museum is well laid out and has memorabilia spanning back decades…. it’s not just cars.

This run is perfect for partners not so much into cars (my wife is in this group so come on girls) because there is a wonderful display to see.

There is a $10 per head entrance fee however balanced against this is the wonderful Museum and you will be treated to tea / coffee and light snacks during the visit.

If we were to meet up at the Clubrooms at say 8.45 am to leave at around 9am

From here we will cycle past the Stamford Hotel in Stud Rd to pick up any members from the Eastern Suburbs arriving about 9.30 am at the Stamford.

Have an easy drive to 1/55 Barry St Bayswater arriving around 10am

Have a coffee and listen to an interesting overview of the Museum then check out everything that sparks your interest.

Pull stumps 12 noon then head off to the….

For lunch arriving around 12:20pm for the usual “nogg, natter and debrief.”

At the Hotel could you please order your meal asap as they are under the pump.

All this has the makings of a great day and we are privileged that the boys are opening this Museum up for us on a Sunday so please join us…. you will not be disappointed.
