 ACCOMODATION TELEGRAM CHEVROLET NATIONAL FESTIVAL

NOW READ THIS

I REPEAT NOW READ THIS…………We ( The Festival Committee ) have been asking pleading and in various BOWTIE articles suggesting you  book your accommodation then submit the Festival Entry Form with payment to Craig electronically or Ian by mail.

Some members are not attending which is fair enough and a personal decision

Some members have in fact booked accommodation but simply have not got around to sending in the Festival Entry Form………which actually makes the Committees life harder.

However again fair enough and well done!!

This TELEGRAM is for the Third Group……Those that are intending to go but have done nothing and we think there are a lot of you in this group.

Ron, Patrick and myself (Ian) were in Yarrawonga to fine tune the Festival Program and also check out what Accommodation was still available for Members.

Please don’t think we are the only show in town because Yarrawonga/Mulwala is a tourist Mecca and we are competing with Golf, Water-skiing, fishing and other motor type sports.

The Downside for  BOWTIES is obviously Accommodation for example…

RSL Mulwala……………………………………………………………………….2 Standard Rooms left

Then a big jump in price to 10 Deluxe Rooms

Yarrawonga Holiday Park…………………………………………………..6 Budget Cabins Left

Mulwala Ski Club………………………………. virtually no Vacancy

Central Hotel………………………………………………………….………….4 Family Rooms

Belmore Motor Inn…………………………………………………………….8 Double Rooms

We could go on but consider this …. if these establishments were empty there would

be hundreds of rooms available for us to use and those still available will not last long

This situation is serious AND WILL GET WORSE so if you are joining us at Yarrawonga for a great National Festival book your accommodation or you will be sleeping in your car.

Check the Website, get the contacts and act
