    Hi Walter, I don’t have a recommendation for who to fit your part but I have a 68 Camaro Convertible with the Same issue as you and I have also been thinking of removing it and having it rechromed like you have done.

    I also would like to get some work on my convertible roof done as well as it dos not close very well across the header and the side windows & let’s water in.

    Not sure if there is a convertible specialist out there?
    I was talking to someone a few months ago at a car show and he said he did some work on convertible tops but I wasn’t sure if he was the real deal? I took his card but not sure where I put it?
